Consulting

I am sometimes available for consulting engagements in any of my areas of work. Past projects have focused on design and development of custom text processing, information retrieval, and natural language processing systems, as well as machine learning model development and evaluation. I have also helped with literature reviews and competitive landscape assessments, and have acted as a subject-matter expert in support of other teams. Historically, I have worked primarily (but not exclusively) in biomedical domains, with a particular emphasis on electronic medical record notes, literature mining, and clinical trial documentation.

Additionally, I am an experienced educator in machine learning, natural language processing, AI and machine learning ethics, and information visualization. I am available for engagements around curriculum development in these areas, as well as corporate trainings, seminars, etc.
